Finding your photographer is way more about photos, it's about an experience, and I want it to be a great one! My approach to serving my clients is to be helpful, encouraging and fun at your session or wedding. My photography style is candid/ documentary with gentle posing & direction and my edits are warm & true to color.
A bit more I began my photography journey in high school in 2013. I quickly learned to love the art of capturing moments before they are gone, as cheesy as it sounds. I officially launched Smant Photography in 2020 and have absolutely adored serving others by freezing moments of their lives and getting to give it back to them in a photograph.

Amy was the photographer for my wedding and what a dream it was to work with her! Amy arrived early and took beautiful detail photos and shots of everyone getting ready. She captured the most beautiful and meaningful photos throughout the day, for which I am so grateful! All of the bridesmaids made comments of how comfortable Amy's bubbly personality made them feel. Along with taking photos Amy was helpful all day; making sure everyone was where they needed to be, making sure lighting and special pictures got taken, as well as, helping get a bbq sauce stain out of my dress. We absolutely loved working with Amy and look forward to working with her again for other shoots!!
