In 2021, I took the leap to begin a business that I had dreamed about since high school. A major contributing factor to this business venture was my daughter, Ruby... I'm sure many parents can speak to the ways your heart, mind and priorities change after meeting your little one, and PHEW did that happen to me! I distinctly remember sitting in the hospital the day Ruby was born (perhaps a little out of sorts and extremely tired) and holding her while thinking about how I will have to leave her and go to work in just 8 short weeks.
Starting this business has warranted me so many incredible opportunities, and now, a way to spend more time with my Ruby. In February 2024, we welcomed another little lady, Annie, into the world! Now, as a mom of two, I can't imagine doing anything else. Helping capture the precious moments of my clients' lives is so much more meaningful now!
The story behind my logo...
Bringing Peace to your wedding day . . . 🕊️
I’m passionate about capturing your moments authentically, justas they happen.
In the photography world, common words used to characterized this type of approach is "documentary" or "editorial". And a documentary approach weddings and photo shoots is growing in popularity for a GREAT reason! It is more enjoyable. Instead your wedding day feeling like a production or massive photoshoot, I have great confidence in finding the perfect balance of an organized flow, but an all around relaxed feel. It can be done and I get to take part in it often.
With great timeline planning ahead of time (which I offer assistance in with all of my wedding packages!) and acting almost as a peaceful tour guide, magic happens.
The day is more enjoyed when you are not constantly asked to move your arm a certain way, or say cheese for hours. There is a time and place for that (usually a little window for family portraits) but a wedding day filled with organic laughs, big hugs and taking in the day with your partner is what makes the perfect wedding gallery.
