Brunswick Hills, Ohio
Alexandria and Ryan had the sweetest and most intimate backyard elopement. They invited their parents, got beautiful wedding clothes and committed their lives to one another on their farm as their animals watched nearby. When they reached out to me and shared their vision that was inspired by Jim and Pam’s Niagara elopement (IYKYK), I was even more excited to be working with them! Great taste in shows, appreciation for elopements and country music, we hit it right off!
The day’s events went like this: they spent the day going about their normal lives with an intended sweet end to it – to elope at sunset. When Jordan and I arrived to their farm to photograph their elopement, Ryan was finishing up taking care of the animals while Alexandria was getting in her wedding dress. Their families arrived and Alexandria had an endearing first look with her father. After walking down the aisle of their barn, Alexandria met her groom in the middle of the barn. With tears all around, including behind my camera, they said their vows and then went strolling down their beautiful animal pastures. Ryan shared that he had gotten the farm from his grandma, to make this evening even more meaningful. They concluded their evening by going to the local bar that they had their first date at and got photos by the jukebox which played Then by Brad Paisley that night and they both knew then that someday it would be their first dance song. With a sweet first dance back in their barn, they brought their story full circle and danced to Then.
