I can’t seem to capture enough of the forever kind of love that my couples so easily show on their wedding day. Even though I want to take all of the credit as your Ohio wedding photographer, it’s this love that makes your photos so stunning. Documenting such moments usually begins with engagement session photography like these Cleveland Museum of Art photos.

Beautiful and clean, the Cleveland Museum of Art is an outdoor engagement spot that makes for an excellent backdrop to your session. Nestled in downtown Cleveland, the Ohio engagement destination offers variety that matches so many different vibes!

We explored the grounds together creating different looks on the steps, in front of the pillars, on the marble benches and beside the trees and lake. The day remained overcast creating the most perfectly even lighting to bounce off of these two beauties.

My first piece of advice for your own Cleveland Museum of Art photos is to nudge the time forward a little bit for sunset engagement photos. This allows for incredible golden hour light amidst the surrounding buildings.

Since this is a location open to the public, you should check the event calendar in advance to make sure that our session doesn’t intersect with large crowds. Another way to keep this destination to yourself is to avoid going on Saturdays sticking instead with a slower weekday. There’s also a perfect rain location nearby at a local greenhouse as a backup.

Couples like Natalie and Joey have such a rich history together that it’s so easy to tell who they are pretty quickly through their photos. The two are high school sweethearts and are so incredibly kind to each other and whoever is around them!

Natalie and Joey could have passed as a couple enjoying an urban elopement with Natalie’s white flowing dress and pearl-studded hair ribbon tied back in a bow. Coordinating his hair up and her hair down, they also contrasted their engagement shoot outfits with a black and white color palette.

Joey added his own formal look in a full black suit with dress shoes. Despite the more elegant style of these engagement photo outfits, they completely embraced the breezy feeling of their session.

Each of the Cleveland Museum of Art photos we captured highlighted their fun-loving and lighthearted personalities that are so deeply in love with one another!
